Training Grounds is a newly introduced stage in the Malta ePremier League, providing players who have never advanced to the Main Competition with a chance to secure a spot in this season's Last Chance Qualifier. The top four participants will earn a place in the Last Chance Qualifier. Open to participants aged 16 and over, the event will be held during PLAYCON 2024 at the MFCC Ta' Qali, Malta.
The Online Qualifiers offer participants the opportunity to kickstart their journey in this year's Malta ePremier League from the comfort of their homes. Open to participants aged 16 and over, the qualifiers will take place in November with a registration limit of 64 players per qualifier. The top 8 players from each qualifier will secure a spot in the Last Chance Qualifier.
The Last Chance Qualifier, held at Centenary Stadium, will feature 32 players, consisting of 11 from the 2023/24 season, 4 from Training Grounds, 16 from the Online Qualifiers, and 1 Wildcard. This pivotal event serves as the final opportunity for participants to progress in the Malta ePremier League 24/25 season, adding an extra layer of intensity to the competition.
The Group Stage is the opening phase of the Main Competition, featuring 11 players who qualified through the Last Chance Qualifier, along with Shaun 'Brandsha' Galea, the reigning champion from the previous season. Each of the 12 participants will be affiliated with a club from the 360Sports Malta Premier.
As the competition advances, the top 8 players from the Group Stage will move on to the Main Competition Knockout Stage. This phase will follow a double-elimination format, giving players a second chance after their first loss. The Knockout Stage will maintain its intensity until a final winner is crowned, determining the Malta ePremier League 2024/25 champion.
