The Countdown for the Main Competition Begins

The excitement is building as the Malta ePremier League 2024/25 Main Competition prepares to kick off. Featuring 12 teams represented by the island's most skilled EA FC players, this season promises to be the most competitive yet. The competition will unfold in a series of stages: Group Stage Divided into three groups of four teams, the Group Stage will see intense rivalries unfold. The Group Stage draw, conducted live on Thursday, 6th February on Sports Panorama and broadcast on TVM Sport+, has determined the following groups: Group A: Hamrun Spartans, Marsaxlokk, Zabbar St Patrick, Birkirkara (Matches will be played on 21st February) Group B: Naxxar Lions, Gzira United, Mosta, Sliema Wanderers (Matches will be played on 28th February) Group C: Melita, Balzan, Floriana, Hibernians (Matches will be played on 7th March) Playoffs Following three weeks of Group Stage action, a week of playoffs will determine the teams advancing to the Knockout Stage. The playoffs for the best two third-placed teams will take place on 14th March. Knockout Stage The final four weeks will see the remaining teams battle it out in a series of intense matches, culminating in the exciting Grand Finals. All the action will be broadcast live every Friday at 9 PM on TVM Sport+, with the first live program airing on Friday, 21st February.

The Malta ePremier League hosted its Last Chance Qualifier on Saturday, 4th January at the Centenary Stadium. 32 players participated in the offline event, competing in Six Rounds of Swiss Format matches. The top 11 players from the qualifier have now earned their places in the Main Competition, joining reigning champion Shaun 'Brandsha' Galea.
